The system is intended for ice-hockey schools, clubs, centres, coaches and athletes who wish to increase the effectiveness of their training. It can be installed and used in a special room (not on ice or in other sports grounds/rooms) or a designated and fenced area in ice-hockey training rooms. Athletes can use the system to train individually or with a coach and other team members.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sporto Intelektas UAB has many years of experience in the production of high-precision electronic sensors. Our team has been researching the ice-hockey market for more than 10 years, its members are representatives and supporters of ice-hockey with excellent knowledge of the skills required for professional ice-hockey. Our team members have a vision of how to improve the training skills and technique of ice-hockey players. Knowledge and experience of our team will be smartly used for the project and generate high added-value for the activities that are part of the project.
“Our goal is to perform research and address the existing scientific uncertainties in order to create an intelligent training system for ice-hockey players, which will be based on Artificial Intelligence analysing a wide range of biomechanical, physiological and strength parameters of the athletes, simulating real-life environment of a hockey match and giving relevant feedback and personalised recommendations during the training. The system will offer much more functionalities compared to the products currently available on the market. This will allow generating high added-value for ice-hockey schools, clubs, centres, coaches and athletes. I believe it will become irreplaceable,” explained Sergej Irchin, Director of the company.
The value of the project for the development of the intelligent ice-hockey training system prototype is EUR 1.5 million. Together with its partner, Sporto Intelektas has already invested more than EUR 0.5 million in the process.
